2024 Route

The second leg of my Africa journey will begin in Nairobi, Kenya, in June 2024 and will lead me, and occasionally company (including Nancy! and Caitlin! and brother Mark and wife Kirsten!), through northcentral and southeastern Kenya, then south along the coast of Tanzania, then inland to northwestern Mozambique, then south through southern Malawi, then back along the coast of Mozambique, then south along the coast of South Africa, with a jaunt inland to the country of Lesotho — ultimately ending in Cape Town, South Arica in September 2024.

Once again, my route will focus on visiting national parks and reserves in each of the six countries in an effort to experience the varied landscapes, diverse peoples, and incredible wildlife found along the east coast of east and south Africa. Next year my African journey will focus on the west coast of Africa.
